In this area our students will find information that will greatly
assist them in their studies. There are also sub sections that will
answer the most common questions and a section that helps with the
uncertainty of examinations.
The After Care section deals with some important information that
enhances our students’ activities and helps them during and
after their course.

This section covers the most common questions asked by our students. If
for any reason you are still unclear about the course or your question

We are committed to our students and want them to get excellent marks
in their examinations. In order to reduce the anxiety that sometimes
overshadows examinations, we have added this section to assist the
student who may experience occasional problems.
Some of the following can simply mean getting a question wrong, or
alternatively, missing out on a whole section of an exam, and therefore
failing.
The first generic point is that each exam is an online computer
generated exam where the 100 questions are selected from a pool of
1,600 questions. There are in fact 2 pools of 1,600 questions,
potentially providing a choice from 3,200 questions.
This leads to the problem of candidates thinking that having sat
several CeMAP papers, some are surprised that the questions they have
to answer are not the same as those they have practised on. The key
elements will always be tested within any of a range of questions. All
of the questions need to be read carefully to ensure that the correct
point is being answered.
Students should note that the panel who write the questions are not
aware of whether their questions will be in either the actual exam or
mock paper.
It is very important to always read all of the answers as 2 or even 3
answers will be correct, but 1 is more correct than the others.
For CeMAP 1 - Part 1, it is very easy to exit the exam when finishing
Part 1, instead of moving onto Part 2. This means that there is no
opportunity to sit CeMAP 1 - Part 2 and therefore the exam is failed
with the requirement to pay for an exam re-sit. Therefore at the end of
CeMAP 1 - Part 1, when the question asked is “Do you want to
exit
the exam?” the correct answer is “No”,
this then
takes you into the Part 2.
It is important to be aware that you have 1 hour for each part of the
exam and
if you do not use the full 1 hour on Part 1, you will still only have
one hour
allocated for Part 2; therefore if you have spare time check your
answers.
Always go through the questions and answer those which you can easily
and correctly answer, then “flag” the questions you
are
uncertain of. This will remove most of the time pressure and enable you
to quickly answer most questions, leaving time to consider those
questions you are uncertain of. To help arrive at the correct answer,
eliminate the obvious wrong answers first, so that if you are still
uncertain you are only selecting from 2 or 3 answers, not 4.

Here at The Academy we strive to make sure our students get the best
possible after care service. This is not just during the course, but
also after the training has completed. A number of facilities are
provided to ensure an anxious-free environment, allowing the students
to concentrate on their studies.

Book Loan
It is important to read certain chapters of the course material before
joining the classroom sessions. At times, course material from various
providers may be difficult to get due to high demand. In situations
like this, we have an arrangement for our students to borrow books
until their own arrive.

Refer a Friend
A large proportion of our business is generated via referrals. We
thought it would be a good idea to reward those that rate our Academy
so highly that they mention us to their friends. For every introduction
where a student enrolls on to one of our courses, we pay
£50.00.
More information can be obtained from the Careers Consultants.

Out of Hours Help
Reading and revising in the self-study segments of the course can
sometimes lead
to certain questions arising. It's at times like this that some
students find
it difficult to move forward in their reading, unless they get a
satisfactory
answer to their question. If you are nice to our Trainers, they may
provide you
with their direct contact numbers to give you that extra peace of mind.

Job Placement Assistance
All our students will have an opportunity to attend various interviews
arranged with one of our many affiliates. Before they attend this
interview, help is at hand to go through interview and C.V writing
techniques. This will give them the best possible start in their career
in becoming a Mortgage Advisor.

Student Report
This is a quality summary of the students conduct during the course. It
is a report that assists both the student and the trainers to ensure
that a continuous development of understanding is maintained. The
report also helps all concerned to monitor strengths and weaknesses.
We understand how stressful it can be to study and the anxiety that can
sometimes be created upon taking an important exam. To help reduce such
tendencies, we have a number of enhancements that are sure to create a
welcoming and comforting environment.
Our classrooms are spacious, with carpeted floors. The carpet acts as
an excellent dampener for those disturbing noises. There are a number
of private self-study areas where students can take full advantage to
either study on their own or as a group.
A large amount of space is also reserved for canteen facilities. Our
students don’t need to wonder the streets looking for a place
to
sit and eat in peaceful surroundings.
