Thesaurus defines innovation as modernism;
modernization; improvement;
advancement and originality. Just as well, because here at The
Financial Training Academy we are proud to be implementing all of these
definitions in our own products and infrastructure.
The Financial Services is an industry that is well established and
highly respected by countries around the world. In order to ensure that
students, who begin their career path here at our academy, are primed
to continue the excellent work already being delivered by the financial
services, we are continually advancing our offering.
It is our intention that our students are looked upon as the best
prepared ‘new blood’ for the industry. In order to
achieve
this, a number of strategic plans are put into action.
The plans range from attention to detail; learning the essence of
treating customers fairly; clear communication, both written and
verbal; good sales practices; customer retention; and many other areas
relating to good long term development.
We found that concentrating on these key areas enable our students to
be ready for work in almost every sector of the financial services.

Teaching is a great art. Adding value to the teaching by supplying free
mock exam papers; revision aids; and interactive electronic media to
enhance the learning process all provide an excellent platform for our
students to not only pass their exams but to excel in their
achievements with merit and distinction grades.
Looking down at a book for many hours of the day is also a poor way to
study. We have therefore installed computer projectors in all our
classrooms thus allowing the student to gain maximum benefit from the
lectures. We found that the transfer and retention of knowledge was
much higher than that of just physically looking down at course
material.

We are proud to lead the way in excellent coaching of our students in
the area of work readiness. This area concentrates on CV writing;
interview skills; interview interactivity; body language and key
negotiating skills. The process has enabled our students a choice of
work placements, thus boosting their self-confidence and enabling the
employer to save months of in-house training.

Learning and then passing a course may not be so difficult for the able
student. However, as in almost every field, especially the financial
sector, the practical knowledge provides the real substance. Once
again, leading in innovation, we have developed a number of courses
which provide that all-essential foundation of working in a real-life
work environment. These tailor made courses were designed by working
closely with employers in the city ranging from Banks, Mortgage
Packagers and Mortgage Brokers.
