NVQ Level 2 in Team Leading
The Level 2 NVQ in Team Building is designed for staff who are responsible for a team or wishing to be promoted in their job role. You will learn how to Identify and agree the requirements of your work-role with those you report to. You will understand how to Check, on a regular basis, how you are using your time at work and identify possible improvements. You will be able to steer the team successfully through difficulties and challenges, including conflict within the team.
Course Contents
Mandatory Units:
- Manage your own resources
- Provide Leadership for your team
- Develop productive working relationships with your colleagues
- Ensure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety
Assessment
The NVQ Level 2 in Team Leading will be based on the candidates portfolio.
To achieve the whole qualification at Level 2, you must prove competence in the mandatory units and two option units.
